My name is Satyarth Arora, I am a Graduate Student, Music Engineering Technology and Teaching Assistant at the University of Miami. I am passionate about Digital Audio, Beatboxing, Software Development and Electronic Music Production. I am curious about how research in audio is conducted and interested in products that enables music production for individuals with no or little musical experience. 

Ever since my childhood, music has served as an outlet for my emotions and creative energies. Songs are like a puzzle to me: with every listen I try to unlock the structures beneath the sound, and to identify the relationship between rhythm and melodies. To me, this relationship is analogous to programming languages. Songs with similar technical structures can sound completely different, similar to polymorphism in object-oriented programming where entities with similar names can have different operations or existence.

This fueled my desire to pursue music from an engineering standpoint which led me to pursue a Master's in Music Engineering Technology.
